How quickly can a plumber actually arrive?
Inside the Klang Valley core, most calls see a Reachbay technician at the gate within 60 minutes — including overnight. Outer KL (Klang, Kajang, parts of Putrajaya) is typically 75 – 90 minutes. We give you a real ETA on the phone, not an open-ended "afternoon".
Do you charge for the visit and quote?
Free if we end up doing the work. RM80 flat for a written diagnostic only. RM180 flat for a callout between 6 PM and 6 AM, fully credited toward any quoted work you accept on the night.
What warranty do you provide?
12 months on workmanship for every job. Parts carry their original manufacturer warranty, which we list (brand, model, period) on the printed invoice. You can claim through us or directly with the manufacturer — your choice.
Can I supply my own taps, heaters, or sinks?
Yes, and many of our clients do. We install what you brought and warrant the workmanship only — the parts are on the manufacturer. If we supply, you get a warranted brand at a transparent mark-up listed on the quote.
Are your technicians licensed?
Every Reachbay technician on a paid visit holds a current CIDB green card. The company is registered as a CIDB G1 contractor (Reg. 202501054732) and carries RM1 million public liability cover.
What payment methods do you accept?
DuitNow QR, FPX online banking, GrabPay, Visa or Mastercard, and cash. A receipt is always issued — printed on the spot or by email if you'd prefer.
Do you work with strata building managers?
Yes, regularly. We carry a JMB-ready document pack — method statement, insurance certificate, worker IDs — and coordinate with the building office for entry, parking, and any required permit-to-work.
Will you give a fixed price before starting?
Yes. Every paid job begins with an itemised quote you sign off. The bill matches the quote — unless mid-job we find something that needs your authorisation, which we discuss with you and re-quote before proceeding.
Do you handle larger renovations?
Plumbing scope, yes — we manage the supply, drainage, waterproofing, and fixtures for kitchen and bathroom renovations. We don't act as the main contractor for whole-house jobs, but we work happily alongside one.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
WhatsApp the booking number or call the office. Reschedule with more than 4 hours' notice is free; same-day cancellation forfeits the callout deposit if one was taken.
