Who we areA small KL plumbing team built around a stubborn idea
A real person should answer the phone. The quote should match the bill. The work should still be quietly working three years later. That's the whole pitch.
How we started
Reachbay HomeCare grew out of a one-van plumbing round in Bangsar in 2014. Faizal, our founder, had spent eight years on contractor crews around the Klang Valley and got tired of explaining to homeowners why their last plumber had quoted RM800 and billed RM2,400. So he started a tiny outfit that did the opposite: detailed quotes, plain language, photographs of everything.
The team is twelve people now — six senior technicians, four apprentices on a proper four-year track, and two coordinators who answer the phones and keep the schedule honest. We deliberately haven't grown faster. The whole model relies on the people who quote you being the people who do the work, and that doesn't scale to fifty vans.
What we believe about home repair
Three things, mostly.
Diagnosis beats demolition. Most leaks and blockages can be located precisely with the right kit. Smashing tile in the hope of "having a look" is what makes a small problem expensive.
Boring documentation pays. The photo log you don't think you need today is the document that lets you claim on insurance two years from now when the wall finally stains through.
The best customer is a returning one. Overcharging on a small visit gets you one bill. Doing it cleanly gets you the next renovation. The math isn't subtle.
Where we work
We're based on Jalan Maarof in Bukit Bandaraya, Bangsar. Most of our day is spent within a 12 km radius — KL proper, PJ, Subang, Shah Alam, Cheras, Ampang, Damansara. We take the occasional longer drive for repeat clients out toward Klang or Kajang, but we'll tell you on the phone if a trip charge applies before we set off.
Licences & insurance
Reachbay HomeCare Sdn. Bhd. is registered under company number 202501054732. We hold a current CIDB G1 contractor licence and RM1 million public liability cover through a Malaysian-domiciled insurer. Copies are available on request and live on the technician's tablet for any job above RM5,000.

Every initial visit is handled by a senior technician with 5+ years on the tools. The same person quotes the job and runs the work — no awkward handovers.
